Hello Family and Friends!

This is definitely a work in progress. Roger and I are trying to catch up with the internet world. This is supposedly a team effort, he is so much more computer savy than I am. I cannot do this on my own. I am stepping out first and hopefully he will jump in and add graphics and pictures and links, etc.

It will be interesting to see what we can pull together, because we are such a salt and pepper team. We compliment one another, but do not always work things out the same way! For example, he is a temple worker, I am a family history buff. Ultimately the same goal, different departments. Such has been our life together...

We were laughing the other day, I am always in jeans and he doesn't even own a pair. The one day, I dress up to go shopping, he didn't.

So wish us luck and send us advice, I think we could really use it!

I am grateful for the whys...

I was writing in my 'Journal Jar' journal the other day...  in answer to a common request that I should probably repeat at least once a year.
The question was 'Do I have a testimony?  Write down the things you do believe and know are true.'
As I contemplated this question...  which I didn't consider hard...  just time consuming -  I decided to procrastinate my answer for a few days.
In the next few days, I reflected not just on the things that I believe; but the experiences that led me to believe or to recognize what I believe.
What a blessing to relive some of those thoughts and feelings.
Questions like, 'Heavenly Father are you really there?  Do you love me?' don't usually come at the happiest moments in our lives.  But they become priceless moments, real treasures.
Every thing that I believe, I believe for a reason and I am grateful for the experiences that have led me to know and to believe.
I am grateful for the spirit which helps us remember and for the instructions to keep a journal, where we can keep a record of our priceless moments.
