January was a terrifice month for me. I had some great opportunities come my way and so many prayers were answered. I feel like my insides are smiling bigger than my outsides and my heart is full of love for everyone! I know I should feel this way all of the time, but when special moments come they are particularly strong! I want everyone to be happy too!
This month I have been focusing on our Savior's last message before his death. Love one another as I have loved you. This is a step above the Golden Rule of 'do unto others as ye would have others do unto you'. His love is a perfect love, accepting us with all our faults and sins. Inviting us to join Him, to be like Him and to share with Him all that He has. It does not excuse our sins, without repentance. We must work hard to be like Him, but His love gives us hope and faith and strength to surpass all of our weaknesses. If we could only see ourselves as He sees us, we could do anything!
If we could only love others and see them as He sees them, our world would be a perfect place.
My world is a better place when I try to be more like Him!
Hello Family and Friends!
This is definitely a work in progress. Roger and I are trying to catch up with the internet world. This is supposedly a team effort, he is so much more computer savy than I am. I cannot do this on my own. I am stepping out first and hopefully he will jump in and add graphics and pictures and links, etc.
It will be interesting to see what we can pull together, because we are such a salt and pepper team. We compliment one another, but do not always work things out the same way! For example, he is a temple worker, I am a family history buff. Ultimately the same goal, different departments. Such has been our life together...
We were laughing the other day, I am always in jeans and he doesn't even own a pair. The one day, I dress up to go shopping, he didn't.
So wish us luck and send us advice, I think we could really use it!
